Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Believe / Sketches in Thyme Challenge!

Hello ladies..I have been on a roll..gotta alot done this week! This morning I was scrolling through some of my favorites and I came across sketches in thyme blog..and I had to do their challenge....go check them out @

http://sketchesinthyme.blogspot.com/

or you can just click on my title and it will take you their. This layout is of my darling daughter Lillian with Santa. She had breakfast with santa a few weeks ago...she used to be scared of him but she could not wait this year to sit on his lap...I think she does believe...Don't you? The first pic is of their sketch....I think I did accomplish it...changed it alittle bit but this is what I came up with .

Layout recipe:

Background is the accent blackout shift 3 on storybook cart...cut @ 5 3/4" then I cut in half...(silver paper)

Believe (title) cut @ 1 1/2" with Tear Drop cart.

holly is cut @ 1 1/4" (twice) and then at 1 3/4" twice....with JOTS (cartridge)

I used ms stitched lace around the page border punch, 2 pieces of green scrap cardstock, some lace, pearls, green and black ink for the leaves...also used white maker, buttons (stash) and jems and last but not least...I journaled with a gel pen..always need the journaling.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the sketches in thyme blog for their challenge...you can win some fabulous christmas buttons.
