Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Flowers for you ....end of the year teacher cards!

Hello ladies...I hope everyone had a fantastic mother's day ...I know I did spending it with my daughter. My dd also had a great birthday party on Saturday...lots of gifts and lots of money....she is one loved girl.

Okay on with my cards for today.....well since the end of the school year is near my sister asked me if I could do a couple cards for my nieces preschool teachers....so of course I said yes.....she needed 12 of something on a card to represent the kids.....so this is what I came up with. My thought behind it was the flowers are the kids and the bee is the teacher looking over her students.....I really love how this came out.

I designed everything on my design studio. I used WIMG for the wheelbarrel which I sized down from the orginal size of 2 3/8"...so I am not really sure how big it is now.

I used WIMG for the stem of the one flower...welded everything together.

Used PDDU for the grass cut @ 2" and then sized down.

the flowers are Crpsis on WIMG cut @ 1 1/4"

Bee is cut @ 1 1/8" added some pearls and doodled it flying.

Inked almost everything and wala 2 cards for my nieces teachers.....I also have to make one for my dd's teacher so stay tuned for that one.

Thanks for stopping by and god bless all.

I also added a carriage to the front I found at Michaels in the wedding section.

Teacher appreciation gifts / 3rd post for today!

Hello again! This is my 3rd post for today..so be sure to scroll down for more....

Tomorrow is teacher appreciation day. So I whipped this up today and I love how it turned out.

I made the card with DCWV grade school paper, and some ribbon...inside is a computer generated poem.....says:

I'm happy that you're my teacher;
I enjoy each lesson you teach,
As my role model you inspire me
To dream and to work and to reach.

With your kindness you get my attention;
Every day you are planting a seed
Of curiosity and motivation
To know and to grow and succeed

You help me fulfill my potential;
I'm thankful for all that you've done.
I admire you each day , and I just want to say,
As a teacher, You're number one!

Added some ribbon to the outside, some pattern paper that I cut apples out of and used as the note pad....cut a couple apples out of chipboard to make it sturdy, added some little stamps to it. Used George for the word "NOTES" cut @ .3/4"....added a little ink, used a ziplock baggie punched some holes into it added ribbon and wala a bag full of goodies ..really simple teacher gift.

That is all for today....thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Freezer paper Birthday girl shirt / 2nd post for today.

Well here is another post for today....I got this shirt at Michaels a while back , but then I thought I should make a freezer paper shirt for my daughter's birthday party. She is going to wear this...she loves it.

I just got this done the other day...you need fabric paint, freezer paper, t-shirt and an idea of what you want to put on it.

My daughter is having a Hello kitty party and so I thought why not make a hello kitty shirt. I used fabric glitter on the birthday girl part ....I love the shine too it.

Birthday girl cut with Storybook cart, used a flower punch , Hello kitty cut with HK Font cart....easy peasy...
