Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Out of this world Freezer paper shirt!

HI AGAIN! This is my 3rd post for today...I have been busy and will busy all next week so this might be my last posts for the month..this is also for the occ challenge blues and greens..come by and check them out...http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/.... I also used this for the Frosted designs challenge, yellows, oranges, turquoise, and green.....The martian looks blue but the 3d paint said turquoise...http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/

We have a birthday party next Saturday .....so I made this shirt for a soon to be 5 year old...I enjoyed making this since I always make girl things...so it was nice to make something for a boy....I am also going to make another one of this for another little boy at the end of July!

I used EDPD (which I borrowed from my mom) and used it for the martian (alien) , spaceship which I used glow in the dark paint for! So cool!

I also used EDPD for the shooting stars and used 3 different colors to make it! Then added gold around the stars...looks better in person.

I cut everything out with the freezer paper...love doing these shirts...hope you like and make sure you scroll down for more posts!

Graduation basket!

Hello everyone! I have been busy planning my hubby's graduation picnic for the 4th of July! He is graduating from Dean Tech ...I am so proud of him. He has been working full-time, going to school partime and still manages to have time for my dd and myself...so I wanted to do something special for him.

I hope he likes this. This is my 1st basket that I've made and I really enjoyed making it, I made it manly without flowers, ribbon, or pearls....my favs...but I didn't think he would appreciate that so I came up with this.

Carts used :

WC for the graduation hat (this is the grad card) faux stitched and inked cut @ 6 1/2", then the diploma is inked cut @ 8"

Frame for the sign is cut @ 10" and then at 9 1/2" (for a shadow)

LT (lockertalk) for the pencil cut @ 2 1/2", books cut @ 4 1/4", pennant cut @ 4", note paper cut @ 4 1/2" and then the compass (it is fixed to the notepaper) (he always had to use one of these) cut @ 4 1/2", and then the calculator cut @ 5 1/2".

George cart for the "Way to go" cut @ 2 1/2"

everything was inked and then I found some gold grad necklaces that I used inside basket and also dangled one on the outside, added star clips (also because it will be on the 4th),

The pipecleaners (gold) I found at Michaels and thought of sparklers....so I needed to add those.

Oh last but not least the sign says

" No more pencils"
" No more books"
" No more teachers dirty looks!"

I hope all of you like and god bless all of you!

Mickey Easel card / gift box!

Hello everyone! I did not like the other father's day card that I made for my fil so I made another one that I think he will enjoy!

He loves disney..anything disney. I am also in the disney mood so I thought why not a Mickey card....

Card recipe:

cardstock cut @ 6 X 12 then scored at 3" and 6" to make the easel card.

Mickey Font cart for the title DAD cut @ 2 3/4"

Mickey and friends cart for the Mickey cut @ 4" and then I inked his shoes with blue ink. also used a little pink for his cheeks. DON'T YOU THINK HE IS CUTE SITTING ONTOP OF THE TITLE.

Inside of card I used 3 buttons from my stash, used small letters which I stamped onto some cardstock and then faux stitched with white gel pen and added some ribbon.

Box:

I used AE for the Accent (behind mickey's head) cut @ 4"

Used mickey font for the mickey head cut @ 3" which I faux stitched (doodled) his ears with white gel pen.

I also used a glitter gel pen on the white diamond in background...added some ribbon and wala another card. Thanks for stopping by and God Bless all!

SunKissed / 2 challenges again!

Hello ladies! I got some time to myself again lastnight..my dd and husband were in the pool so I decided to scrap.

I also did this one for 2 challenges again. I love challenges. The 1st one again is frosted designs @ http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/ ...the 2nd one is pratical scrappers @ http://www.practicalscrappers.com/....They both want you to use glitter.

So this is another lo of my dd just recently...I was laying out getting some sun and she decided to join me on my blanket...she looked so cute there. I told my hubby to run and get the camera and she just posed for the pics. She cracks me up!

The title I made in 2 different colors by using my exacto knife (don't think I spelled that right) OH WELL! I cut sections of it out....had to cut the title twice to do this.

I used Simply sweet for the title cut @ 1 7/8" added glitter 3d crystal paint. added ribbon to it also.

I used DC for the sun cut @ 2" also glittered and did a faux stitching.

I used LAB for the umbrella cut @ 4 3/4" also glittered

Lab again for the pineapple drink cut @ 2 3/4" added jem, used white gel pen for the lines of the pineapple. I added a jem to the orange and glitter to the umbrellas, I also used aleene's paper glaze to the orange and cherry.

I used orange ink for almost everything, ribbons, pearl, jem, glitter gel pen for some of the faux stitching around title, glitter 3d paint for the umbrella, sun, title and pineapple drink....I also used design studio for the title welded it....I think that is all.

Click on the title and it will take you to the links

Thanks for looking...God bless all!

splash / 2 challenges!

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here in a while and visiting all your blogs but I have been busy. Now that school has been out I also have not had time to myself until the other day so I made this layout for a challenge...well actually 2 challenges..

The 1st one is for frosted designs @ http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/ ....glitter , glitter and more glitter...I probably could of glittered more and doubt that you can even see it on here, but I did use glitter.

The 2nd one is for pratical scappers @ http://www.practicalscrappers.com/ they also want glitter....

Layout:

Lab (life's a beach cart) for the flipflops, beachchair, umbrella, beachball, bathing suit (sorry I did some of this on design studio and did not write down sizes)

DCT (dreams come true) for the splash (water) in the middle which I used design studio for and then layered another piece of cardstock underneath to give it a two tone color. I added glitter to this and the bathing suit and flipflops.

SS (simple sweet) for the title splash

I used aleene's paper glaze on the title, umbrella and beachball.

I inked everything, added silver pearls to the flipflops, the umbrella , a jem to the bathing suit along with glitter, (can't see to well) , and a flower punch for the flipflops. I also added journaling around the pics.

The reason I made this card though is for one of my dh's cousins son Hunter....His birthday is in October and we will miss it so this is the card I will send before we leave....I hope he will like it.

Card recipe:

George also for the circle cut @ 3 1/4"

Well if not look closely to maybe refresh you memory...inside this basket is the bottle..My mom finally finished this basket and brought it over yesterday for me to see...She said she wanted my approval since I made the bottle....It looks beautiful in person.

She used clay and foam for the bottom and then added sand to the clay to make it stick to it.....She added some beachy flowers, like birds of paradise, (her friend wanted something beachy), then she added some of her friends favorite seashells, the bottle that I made with god's letter inside.....
