Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Homemade Oreo cookies/ bags

Hello ladies! Looky what I made today for my mom, sister, and my gram for Thanksgiving....I am so thankful to have them all in my life...thank God for family. I am also thankful for the guys in my life (DAD, Hubby, Brother in Law) but I don't think they would appreciate these as much as the gals. I got this recipe for the Homemade Oreo cookies from Jamie @ http://www.mybakingaddiction.com/homemade-oreos/....go take a look at these....this was the first time I made them. So easy to make but sticky.....I used the bottom of a glass to squish them out (add butter to the bottom so they do not stick)....

I also made these cute little bags which I got the idea from SplitCoastStampers....go take a look at their blog too....all kinds of ideas...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/2_5_7_10_box/

For the bags I used a ms border punch and some ribbon (from my stash)

and for the homemade cookies I used some bags (they are not thanksgiving but I don't think they will really care) I also used ACY and nestabilities to make the tags....used swissdots cb folder to emboss them.

I hope you enjoy as much as I did making them.....thank you for stopping and God bless you.

Spooky Haunted Mansion (Disney)

Hello ladies. It is a dreary rainy day today. A little cold but not to bad, so I figured I would use my time today to do another disney layout. This one is of the Haunted Mansion ride. It is very spooky with ghosts and ghouls inside this mansion. My dd did not like it at first because at the end of the ride they show a ghost sitting with you, and the operator of the ride says...don't forget the hitchhiker (ghost) will be with you for the rest of your stay....so that scared her until I told her it was just a pretend and that they project a ghost on the mirror to look like he is riding with you. Then she wanted to keep riding it...she said that wasn't to bad. Remember she is only 5.

Layout recipe:

Pddu cart for the ghost, bats, castle, and tree... (sorry forgot to a write down the sizes) I used DS (design studio to weld the title and frame for the ghost)

Mickey font for the title.....used ms bat border punch and added the cut out bats to the title. I also used silver ink , and inked about everything.

Jasmine cart for the frame behind ghost.

Used black pearls for the eyes of the ghost and orange pearls around the frame. Used ms fence punch.

Hope you enjoy....Thanks for stopping by and God Bless all!

The Grinch (another Disney layout)

Hello ladies...I promised another layout from Disney. This one is of the Grinch...my favorite character of Christmas and my dd Lillian and myself. In the one pic she is fighting with me ....she was a little scared to even be by him but then I said I would get in the picture and she cooperated. She said afterwards that wasn't so bad.

She cracks me up. I wanted to make this layout a happy layout since it was such a good time. I also wanted to add some of the things that were in the movie of "The Grinch" ....the good stuff...I could of added a heart 3 times to big for him...but I forgot. At the end of the movie he takes all the presents and the tree back to the whoos....so that is why I added the sleight with all the gifts and the tree...I love how this one came out and I hope you do too.

Layout recipe:

JOTS cart (Joys of the Season) for the sleigh cut @ 4 3/8" also welded the presents with design studios.

Gifts cut @ 1 3/8" and the poinsettia cut @ 1 3/8"

SB cart: The cut @ 1 3/8", Grinch cut @ 1 7/8"

Christmas / Noel: Snowflake cut @ 1 7/8", trees cut @ 5" and 3 7/8",

bear cut @ 1 1/2", doll cut @ 1 1/2", and the bell cut @ 1"

I added 3d white paint for snow, tore white paper, used a silver jem for snowflake, a gold jem for poinsettia, used gel pens for doll and chalk, CB Swirls and swissdots folder, design studio, candy cane and lollipop buttons, snowflake buttons, I think that is all....Thank you for stopping by and God bless all.

The older we get the easily confused!

Hello everyone! This is my 3rd post for today..I hope everyone had a great Halloween...I know we did, we went trick or treating. Lily was a glimmer ghost...she counted her pieces of candy and she got about 72 pieces....HOLY CANDY....anyway, the 1st 2 posts are repost but with pics now. I also found out I won a Halloween blog candy...cool huh...Thanks Carrie! http://stampsscrapsandscissors.blogspot.com/ go check her out.

This one is for my fil. His birthday is tomorrow....I also have to make a anniversary card for me and my hubby for tomorrow... This one is sort of a joke so I hope my fil likes it...

card recipe:

53 is cut with Storybook @ 1 1/2"

Turtle is cut with LAB @ 2 1/4"

exclamation mark is cut with PSB @ 1 1/2"

I used stamps and my own handwriting for the front and inside....used ms bubble bath around the punch border...which I found at Michaels on sale...had to pick up a couple more around the page border punches.... Used black pearls for the eyes of turtle.

It reads: Bill: You're turning 53! It's a well known fact that the OLDER we get, the more easily we are CONFUSED!

INSIDE : The turtle is upside down and so are the words.....(are you confused yet, yep I thought so) It reads: See? What did I tell you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
