Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Mothers day card

I made this very simple card using Anna Griffith pretty paintings card set for my mom. Thank you for stopping by.

Mothers Day Frames / gifts

Lots of pictures......Since I gave the Mothers day gifts to my MIL and my mom, I figured I can post this now. I enjoy making these and both really loved them. I created the saying "Grandkids make life Grand" with my handheld gypsy and gypsy font with vinyl. Clean glass really good and then apply the vinyl. I then created a 8 X 11 layout with some pictures from Disney for my mother in law and then the beach for my mom. I used Elegant Edges (Swirl 1) cut @ 7 1/4" (Wanda my mil) and 8" (my mom) Then used the book feature cut @ 8" Gypsy font for "Grandkids make life grand" (vinyl) Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making them.

MIL's Mothers day card!

Hello again. I hope everyone enjoyed their mothers day! I know I did. Since I gave my mother in law her gift I figured I can share this now. Well this will be a 2 parter. First the card then the gift. So stay tuned. Card recipe: Bird 1 S with elegant edges cricut cartridge cut @ 6" Then oblong frame cut @ 6" The mom and son cut @ 4" with childs year paper studio glitter flowers, studio G stamp inside Happy Moms Day. Very simple but loved how it turned out

Thinking of you

Hello! I made this card for my MIL...she wasn't feeling well for a while and I was thinking about her and thought I would send her a card to let her know that she means a lot to us and that we just wanted to say get well and that we are thinking about her. A couple months ago I bought cards from HSN....They were the Anna Griffith Pretty Paintings card set. I have never used these before or any card set. So I thought these would be great for making easy but elegant cards whenever I needed one.

Icecream sundae favors

Hello again. My oldest daughter just turned 10 on Mothers day. So I got to celebrate with my special little lady. We made some of her friends a favor for her birthday. Since I took them for Icecream we thought we would make them look like icecream sundaes. So we added some candy, nailpolish, bubble gum, lipgloss, candies (homemade chocolates), icecream sundae cups. Then I added some tissue paper with sparkles on top and a umbrella.....then wrapped in the pretty birthday bags so it all stayed together. My daughter helped prep them for the get together and also made the chocolates. She really loved helping me and I enjoyed this moment with her.

Make a wish

Hello ladies and gents....I hope everyone had a Happy Mothers day and an awesome weekend. I know we did. My daughters 10 birthday was yesterday too. So We took her and some of her friends to mini golf, for icecream, and then back to our house for some quality time. Then Mothers day my husband, and both of my daughters took me to dinner, bought me a necklace with charms in it, went grocery shopping (not so fun) and then back home for some time together. Also my dads birthday was this weekend too, so I already bought his gift last month so I just made him a card and sent it in the mail.....here is his card. card recipe: cake card cut @ 6" with WC #2 Happy Birthday @ 1 1/2" with WC # 2 Make a wish cut @ 1" with WC # 2 very simple but to the point. Enjoy the rest of your day!
