Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Double embossed mothers day cards!

Hello ladies. I finally got time last night to get a couple things crafted....These are just some of them. I know easter is coming up but then we have mother's day and I had these partially done for 2 wks. Just now finished them.

I used rubber stamps "Boutique"...I got a while back at micheals for .50cents....set of 9 stamps plus ink....they were clearly on sale. Orginally 17.00...couldn't beat picking these up. I used the rose and the vines stamp.

I did the double embossing which I found on youtube.com ...go check it out.

I used ms stitched corner punch, added some lace to one, and ribbon on the other...love the bunched effect..don't you. Faux stitched and wala 2 mother's day cards done. I have a couple more to make. They might all get the same kind of card. I usually do all different but these are totally cute and totally easy. Love how they turned out.

I hope you do too. Thanks for stopping by and God bless all.

I had time today so I got some crafting done and Since Easter is just around the corner and here before we know it, I thought I would make this. I am going to be making more of these for my daughter, nieces and nephew. I think they will love them plus they have alittle surprize in them. I added some cadbury creme eggs, and the surprize are these cute kookoo birds...they are the new thing with kids today. So I bought a few prize ones.....where you can find the golden kookoo bird. I tape the back of it so it would fit in the box.

I used PSB for the grass cut @ 1 3/4" and oval cut @ 1 3/4"

I used recollections chick stamp and colored pencils and used mineral spirits to blend .

a couple of scraps, tissue paper, and add what ever you would like to the basket.

I made this layout for the challenge on Frosted Designs....

The top pic is the inspiration....so since I have alot of seaworld and Disney pics from last year...I thought I would go through them and see what inspired me....and I did. These pics are of my dd Lily at seaworld...before we left for our trip I knew seaworld was doing a Halloween adventure so I packed a ghost (glimmer ghost) costume..this is what she wanted to be for Halloween, Seaworld gives you a map and you have to find where the candy and clues are....very cool.

Transformer out of legos?

Hello ladies...It has been a while since I have been on here but I have been quite busy lately, with working out, cleaning, playdates, appointments, birthdays, etc. ....but I managed to get a layout done...

This LO is of my daughter, my hubby, my sister, and my nephew...We were in Disney in October 2010. This is of legoland downtown disney...we loved it. As you can see my sister and nephew were running away from the transformer (if you ever saw transformers you would know that there are good and evil ones..so my sister was pretending like they were after them) (this was not a planned pic but I snapped it as they were running away)...they crack me up...then my daughter and hubby were standing there ready to take a picture...

So I decided to put them both together....so this is sort of a funny layout. (to me anyway)

Layout recipe:

Transformer (title) cut @ 1 1/2" with PSB
Out cut @ 1"
Of cut @ 1"
LEGOS !!!! cut @ 1 1/4"

bubble cut @ 1 1/2" with graphically speaking (says "OH NO RUN")

2 strips of scraps (journaling)

ms bubble border and corner punches

floss and button....easy peasy....might have to do more easy ones to get my disney layouts done. Thanks for stopping by and Have a great day!

Folded frame card/ pull up treat / totally tote!

Hello ladies...I have been busy working out , playdates with my daughter and her friends, and just getting ready for all these birthdays on Sunday....well this is the last one I had to make...I made 3 different techniques that I usually don't do...I found the all on splitcoast stampers. If you click on my title for these projects it will take you to the folded frame card/ You will have to find the others....

All of these are for a young girl who will be turning 14....

Anyway...I used GS for the flowers on the pull up treat, added a tag and a stamp"It's you special day" added a bow, ribbon and hershey bar inside...and this one is done.

Then I made the Folded frame card..pop up dots (doesn't stick as well as I thought it would), Then a flower from my stash and a stamp that says " Just think, with every birthday you're even closer to being more like your parents"

Inside: Happy birthday (stamp)

Totally tote bag:

Followed instructions from splitcoast stampers, then added a K&company glitter flower, and used ms stitched border punch, added some flower brads and inked...very cute huh? I love this little bag and I stuffed inside a heart necklace. I think she will love it.

Thanks for stopping by and I Hope everyone is having a beautiful day!

Another post for today...this is the last guy card for this weekend. I had to make 4 of them...and 3 girl cards..Anyway..I did another pull up treat...you can get the directions on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/pull_treats/ .....these are so fun to make and so simple.

I used some ribbon, a cut out shape that I had in my stash...on the card I used a turtle stamp that reads"Birthdays are good for you. The more you have the longer you live"....I thought it was so cute..I had to use it , plus I got this stamp and many more on sale at michaels (whole set) for $3.00.. I used nestabilities and inked everything.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pelican card / pull up treat!

Hello ladies...beautiful sunny day here..still a little chilly but beautiful. Well I told all of you in the last post that we are celebrating some birthdays this weekend...well I found out there is another guy who my sister is including in the party, so that makes a total of 7 birthdays rolled into one. Can you say Wow? Wow!!!!! So I had to make another card here is another pull up treat..giving all of these to the guys...plus I always have trouble making guy cards so I really had to think this time.

I used a piece of cork for the wood that the pelican is standing on...I used a recollections stamp (pelican) inked and colored with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. Added some buttons, raffia, cb folder and inked everything. I added some burlap, and nestabilities and wala another card...oh the pelican was stamped 3 times and pop dotted.

The pull up treat I added some raffia too also, I used my cb happybirthday folder, ribbon and there you go. Easy peasy....oh and the hershey bar.

Thanks for stopping by and god bless all!
