Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Memories card!

Hello everyone! When I came home from Mingo park today I found out my pap passed away! He has been in a nursing home for a while and was not doing well....If wasn't officially my pap but he has been dating my gram for about 20 years now and I called him pap so I am very sad to see him leave this world but I know he will be in a better place....anyway, I made this card for my grammother , she also lost her sister/My aunt a few months ago, her grandson/ my brother 2 years ago this august and now my pap....We have been going through alot these past couple years....

I used Home Decor for the dragonfly and flowers (I think I cut this at 3")
I used Home Decor for the frame behind the dragonfly and flowers ( I think this was cut at 4 3/4") did not mark demensions....thoughts going through my mind! Sorry!

I added some flowers, cb the dragonfly and flowers, inked and added gold pearls...oh, Memories are from HD also...inked.

Inside reads:

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, and laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
It will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.

With loving Memories!

Thanks for looking and all that inspire me!

  2. really sorry to hear about your pap! Thinking of you.

I always find it really difficult to make a sympathy card, especially when I have known the person that has passed away - I think you have done a beautiful job, love the white, this is subtle and elegant!
