Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Tree of life...disney layout / SOUS challenge.

Hello ladies... I made this layout of the tree of life (Epcot in disney) ...love this tree all the animals on carved on it , beautiful. So I wanted to capture the pics the most, but I did manage to make this layout for a SOUS (stuck on U sketches) Challenge....if you haven't stopped by go take a look you can click on my title and it will take you straight there or here is there site....http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/

The challenge was to use a tree (diecut) on your layout. Well I think I managed that. I love the simplicity of this one, so you can focuse more on the tree. I used the animal kingdom paper in the background because this tree has all the animals on it.

I used Tear drop cart for the title " TREE (all caps)" cut @ 1 1/2"

TD for "of" cut @ 1 1/4" and Life cut @ that.

Used cindy loo cart for the flower 4 background cut fit to page

Tree cut @ 3 3/4" with CL cart

I cut the tree about 4 times in different colors. then used gel pen to make the veins on the leaves.

I doodled with white gel pen.

Added sticker corners and some ribbon I won on a blog candy challenge. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hello Hello!
This is great Aaron! So I have no idea if this is right or not but there is this tree outside of Yosemite and I swear the moment I saw it...I wondered if that tree was the inspiration for the DW tree. I had taken photos of it but it didn't photograph nearly as magical as it really is. But geez...getting off track here, LOL!
Glad you joined us hun...have a great weekend!
