Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Birthday girl / SOUS sketch challenge / Amandas crafts and more challenge!

Hi everyone.....I got a layout done...woohoo. I just love when there are challenges. This layout is of my dd on her 6th birthday party...yes she just turned 6 on the 10th of this month...let me cry. Okay I'm done..hehe. Time does fly to fast.

Anyway...I made this layout for the SOUS sketch which is posted below.

I also entered this into amanda's crafts and more challenge....go check them out too...http://amandascraftsandmore.blogspot.com/2011/05/getting-scrappy-challenge-8.html

This is what I came up with....I used SB (storybook cart) for the title Birthday girl cut @ 2 1/4"

I used GS (graphically speaking) for the half flower at the bottom in white...added a pink ribbon, used dcwv sweet stack..love this paper almost out ...might have to buy some more. Added a flower brad which goes along with my dd's hello kitty cake. The flowers are the same.

added a 6 sticker ...because that is how old she turned. I also used my ms monarch butterfly punch that I picked up this weekend..love this punch already. I added twinkle glitter too it. I also used George for the silohuette circle and then used the inside too cut in half...that is all ...hope you enjoy. Thank you for stopping by.

  6. Oh sweetness! How super fun this is!
I always think these birthday pages are so important...which reminds me, I think if you can sneak some embossing on this you can also put this in for a challenge at Whimsical Wednesday (birthday and embossing).
