Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Homemade Oreo cookies/ bags

Hello ladies! Looky what I made today for my mom, sister, and my gram for Thanksgiving....I am so thankful to have them all in my life...thank God for family. I am also thankful for the guys in my life (DAD, Hubby, Brother in Law) but I don't think they would appreciate these as much as the gals. I got this recipe for the Homemade Oreo cookies from Jamie @ http://www.mybakingaddiction.com/homemade-oreos/....go take a look at these....this was the first time I made them. So easy to make but sticky.....I used the bottom of a glass to squish them out (add butter to the bottom so they do not stick)....

I also made these cute little bags which I got the idea from SplitCoastStampers....go take a look at their blog too....all kinds of ideas...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/2_5_7_10_box/

For the bags I used a ms border punch and some ribbon (from my stash)

and for the homemade cookies I used some bags (they are not thanksgiving but I don't think they will really care) I also used ACY and nestabilities to make the tags....used swissdots cb folder to emboss them.

I hope you enjoy as much as I did making them.....thank you for stopping and God bless you.
