Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

A mother's day card!

Hi everyone....I woke up this morning feeling like crap..have a cold, runny nose and now a scratchy throat...my dd has a cold too...she has been sneezing her head off the last few days.....what a way to start the new year...I hope this doesn't tell me what kind of year I'm going to have....oh well....at least my mojo is back....I hope it is here to stay....

This card is a Mother's day card...I am trying to do one card a day...or at least something once a day...I also wanted to try my ITOP that I won on Dawn's blog....http://creationsbydawn.blogspot.com/ go check her out..she is very talented and very creative....

I used GS for the sunflower cut @ 3 1/2" , 3 3/4" , 3 1/2" and then 3" used Sandy's technique where you score the petals of flower , curl with pencil or you finger...I used my fingers...must easier..

I then colored the petals with my markers, added itop brad with the same bee and lady bug paper....I used cb swirl folder ,

Jasmine for the corners...(sorry don't remember what size), used EK success punch for the lattic...added ribbon and button...and wala a card....Thanks to all who inspire me!
