Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

New school tags / Frosted Designs challenge!

Updated:

I saw that frosted designs is doing back to school so I entered these for the challenge..go to their blog and check them out...they always have some cool challenges...http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/ or click on my title and it will link you right there.

Hello ladies. I have been managing to get some time to myself and get things done. Since school will be starting for my dd in another week. I had to get her new tag done for her bookbag. I made her one last year for preschool but it fell apart and she wanted a new one, so while I was making hers (Lillian) I made 2 more , one for my niece (Morgan) who is 3 . she will be starting preschool this year, and the other is for my nephew Owen he will be starting kindergarten also.

The one with the kitty is Lillian's (my dd's), the doggie is for Morgan (which the theme of her class is doggies). Then you should know the rocket is for my nephew Owen. he has a star wars backpack with reds, blacks, white and lime greens, so this is what I thought would go with his.

I used my ds to weld their names and for all the cuts. I used flower cb folder and swiss dots. I punched little butterflies out (for lily's and morgan's tags)and doodled some lines to look like the butterflies were flying...Owen's I pieced together in different colors.

Then I ran them through my xyron with laminating supplies.

The last pic on here is of my dd's backpack. Lillian picked the colors she wanted and when we put it on her bookbag it all went together..cool...

Thanks for stopping by and God bless all! I hope everyone has a great weekend.

SunKissed / 2 challenges again!

Hello ladies! I got some time to myself again lastnight..my dd and husband were in the pool so I decided to scrap.

I also did this one for 2 challenges again. I love challenges. The 1st one again is frosted designs @ http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/ ...the 2nd one is pratical scrappers @ http://www.practicalscrappers.com/....They both want you to use glitter.

So this is another lo of my dd just recently...I was laying out getting some sun and she decided to join me on my blanket...she looked so cute there. I told my hubby to run and get the camera and she just posed for the pics. She cracks me up!

The title I made in 2 different colors by using my exacto knife (don't think I spelled that right) OH WELL! I cut sections of it out....had to cut the title twice to do this.

I used Simply sweet for the title cut @ 1 7/8" added glitter 3d crystal paint. added ribbon to it also.

I used DC for the sun cut @ 2" also glittered and did a faux stitching.

I used LAB for the umbrella cut @ 4 3/4" also glittered

Lab again for the pineapple drink cut @ 2 3/4" added jem, used white gel pen for the lines of the pineapple. I added a jem to the orange and glitter to the umbrellas, I also used aleene's paper glaze to the orange and cherry.

I used orange ink for almost everything, ribbons, pearl, jem, glitter gel pen for some of the faux stitching around title, glitter 3d paint for the umbrella, sun, title and pineapple drink....I also used design studio for the title welded it....I think that is all.

Click on the title and it will take you to the links

Thanks for looking...God bless all!

The 1st one is for frosted designs @ http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/ ....glitter , glitter and more glitter...I probably could of glittered more and doubt that you can even see it on here, but I did use glitter.

The 2nd one is for pratical scappers @ http://www.practicalscrappers.com/ they also want glitter....

Layout:

Lab (life's a beach cart) for the flipflops, beachchair, umbrella, beachball, bathing suit (sorry I did some of this on design studio and did not write down sizes)

DCT (dreams come true) for the splash (water) in the middle which I used design studio for and then layered another piece of cardstock underneath to give it a two tone color. I added glitter to this and the bathing suit and flipflops.

SS (simple sweet) for the title splash

I used aleene's paper glaze on the title, umbrella and beachball.

I inked everything, added silver pearls to the flipflops, the umbrella , a jem to the bathing suit along with glitter, (can't see to well) , and a flower punch for the flipflops. I also added journaling around the pics.

Pumpkin of possibilities / PS Challenge!

Hello everyone! This lo is of my dd when she was about 2 years old...My mom, sister, hubby, nephew, niece, daughter and myself went to Trax farm. She had a blast trying to pick the perfect pumpkin. She sat on these pumpkins and so I took her pic. Look at all the pumpkins to choose from.

I made this lo for the Pratical scrappers challenge. They want you to use pattern paper. I used 3 of them. Go check them out...http://www.practicalscrappers.com/

I used the leaf border (at the bottom from a fall stack ) cut the leaf part out of the dcwv fall stack and placed it ontop of another pattern paper as a border.

I then used a pattern paper (all from the dcwv fall stack) (I think it was from that or from the debbie mumm paper, well can't remember) under the pic and used my zigzag sizzors....

I Used SYI for the tree cut @ 10", pumpkins cut @ 2 and 2 1/2"

Used ACY for the leaves cut @ 2"

I used George for part of the title "OF" cut @ .3/4" and then for the Tag cut @ 2"

The oval was also from george, don't remember size.

I doodled, added stickers for the word "PUMPKIN" in the title, I added ribbon to tag and staple, Added raffia to make a corn stalk and then tied with rope. Added a little tiny mouse, look closely and you will see him hiding in the pumpkins. I used burlap and I think that is all....thanks for stopping by. God bless everyone!

I got this done while my dd was at preschool....this was a fast one, haven't had much time to do things for myself lately...so had to take advantage of my time...

I used George for the silhouette circles cut @ 3 1/4" twice (yellow) and then used the inner part of it also...

Used george for the circle cut @ 2 3/4" (blue) used inner part of circle

I then used simply sweet font cart for the title cut @ 1 1/2" "FOCUS"

I used ms flower punch, gel pens to make faux stitches...(love this technique)

I also used different colored buttons around the circles and for the flowers on the bottom of page...

I named this Focus since she was focussing so hard on where she was going...this was the 1st time at her Gram's steep driveway that she had to petal so hard up the hill of it. I hope you all like it...thanks for stopping by...and God bless all!
