Love / SOUS challenge (hearts)






Hello ladies...THis layout is of my beautiful Daughter Lillian last year. She went with my mom , sister, niece and nephew camping and they got to ride ponies, go fishing and have fun...This picture is just one of many. I call this layout Love, because I love everything about it. This one just came to me so I did this one last night.

This layout is also for the SOUS (stuck on u sketch challenge) @ http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/ ...you can also click title to take you to the link.....THey want you to use a diecut of a heart...well I think I did just that. Here goes.

Layout recipe:

Home Decor cart for Love and swirls...( sorry I don't rememeber sizes since I used my Design studio to create this layout)

CAC (create a critter) for the horseshoe and stars (I love this cartridge)

George cart for the hearts and the tag (tag is tucked behind the picture) for journaling.,

I used tattered rose ink (won this on Nanne's blog candy) love it....inked everything.... I used some lace, ribbon, cb (cuttlebugged) the hearts with swissdots folder, and added a flower... The swirl is cut 6 times with chipboard. Hope you enjoy. I had a blast creating this one.

Ready Set, Blow..step card with tag.






Hello again...This is my 2nd post for today. My niece Courtney's 8th Birthday is this weekend so I had to come up with a card. I thought of this one...I hope she loves it. It is like a stair step card, but it has a tag hidden inside that says Happy Birthday to you with love on your birthday....

Sweet treats cart for the cake cut @ 2 1/2", the 8 cut @ 2 1/2", Ready set blow cut @ 2"...Used dcwv glitter paper...love how it sparkles.

Hello kitty cart for Hello kitty cut @ 3 1/2" added flower jem...twinkle glitter to the flower and outfit.

Added jems to the cake, used a sticker that says "Make a little wish"

The tag is hidden and I used stamps for the sayings. Added some yarn and a birthday card is finished....hope she likes it. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello ladies,

I made this layout awhile ago and just haven't got around to posting it until today. This layout is of my dd and my husband at the park. My daughter was 5 year old in these pics and she just loves to climb on the monkey bars. She is alittle monkey. LOL.

I used CAC (create a critter) for the monkey cut @ 3 1/2", the vine cut @ 3 1/2" 3 times

I used pooh font for the title..."MONKEY Around" cut @ 1 1/2"

Captured Memories!






Hello ladies..another layout for today. This one is of my daughter Lily. I captured this picture of her as she was walking away from me. I just love her smile and everything about her...she is my inspiration. I can't really express what my daughter means to me. She is my whole world. Anyway, I thought I would captured this picture in Sepia..so that is what I did.

I used Tear drop for the title "captured" cut @ 1 1/4" and memories cut @ .3/4"...inked with tattered rose (tim holtz) that I received in my blog candy from Nanne..thanks again Nanne.

Camera cut @ 2" with CAC (create a critter)

used storybook cart for the accent blackout (beind the picture) cut @ 5 3/4" using the shift Q accent blackout feature.

Then accent frame cut @ 3 3/4" shift Y .....


added Lace, tattered rose ink, sylish accents (blue flowers), and green gel pen for journaling..always need to add the journaling....

Butterfly kisses ...2nd post for today.







2nd post for today....This layout is of my beautiful daughter Lillian. She was trying to catch butterflies at Mingo creek about a month ago. I took this picture in sepia...love how it turned out. I named this butterfly kisses because one butterfly sat on a piece of grass and she touched it's wing with her finger...it was so beautiful...and then it flew away and kept coming back.

I cut a circle with george cart cut @ 4 1/4", butterfly (title) cut @ 1 1/4"


Kisses (title) cut @ 1 1/2" with Jubilee

used twinkle glitter writer added to the butterflies, ms butterfly punch combo, and ribbon, strips of paper....and then journaled in white gel pen....hope you enjoy....I know I did! Thank you for stopping by and have a great labor day weekend.

Hello ladies...I want to start by saying that my surgery went well...I am alittle sore today but doing great. Thank you for all the prayers.

On another note, I got some cards done last week....yes I got christmas cards done. I am going to try to do a couple each week until Christmas so I have them all done.

A little bird told me!

Hello ladies...sorry I have not been around lately. Pretty busy with school starting! My dd Lillian had a 1st great day yesterday...she is in 1st grade now. She was alittle nervous but she said she was also excited...then once she saw her friends she was back in the grove. I hope it keeps going this way.

Tomorrow I am having some surgery done, so I did get a few things done this past week with layouts. I will be posting them throughout the weekend. I don't really want to go into detail about the surgery but please say a pray for me and I am hoping everything goes well.

On a good note, I did also manage to get this birthday card done for my husband's uncle....his birthday was 2 days ago. I thought this bird was so cute...I had to use him.
