Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

where a kid can meet a mouse!

Hello ladies. Well today was a rough start for my dd ..she did not want to go to school..some little girls said something to her on Wednesday (her 1st day) so now she is being shy and nervous. It really wasn't anything bad it just she is nervous on the bus because she doesn't know anyone. Then she doesn't get off the bus until 4:20pm so this makes for a long day...I am going to have to get her an activity book or something for her to do to keep her mind off things. Thanks again for listening to me ramble on...

I was thinking of Disney again and made this layout...hopefully when we go in October my dd will get to meet mickey or minnie..so I can post a pic...this is also for the pratical scrappers challenge..they want you to use white markers on a layout or card...well I did just that...go check them out at http://www.practicalscrappers.com/ .....or click on the link and it will take you there!

Layout recipe:

I used ds to weld the heart and disney logo, the mickey with the part of the title and the mickey head.

George for the title "where a kid can meet a mouse"

Mickey and friends for the mickey head, mickey and the heart with disney on it.

I added jems (to look like mickey or minnie's head), added ribbon and used glitter paper for the stars which were also cut from the george cart.

I used the white marker around the edges of the mickey head, I traced with a white gel pen around the title.

Last but not least, I used red ink to highlight the edges of the layout.

Thanks for looking and listening ...God bless all!

  3. This is so awesome!

I'll be scraplifting this for sure!

As for your daughter... great idea to tuck an activity book into her bag so she has something to keep her occupied on that long bus ride home.

  4. We just went to Disney last weekend. We live in Florida so we have Annual Passes. Which park are you going to...FL or CA? I hope you have a great time. They say this is the slower time of the year so less wait time in the lines and more character visiting time. Your daughter will have a grand time!
