Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

All Aboard / Polar Expess!

Good Evening on this Sunday afternoon....My family and I did not go anywhere today since it was freezing rain here....it did let up but it was bad this morning...so I hope everyone was safe today....This lo is of my dd Lillian (4 years old) , my sil's daughter Courtney (6 years old) and her fiances' son Ryan (5 years old)....We went on the Polar Express train ride in Ohio....it takes you to a town which they called the North Pole (it was set up with elfs and reindeer (live ones) , penguins, lights just like the north pole...they give you hot chocolate and cookies..just like in the movie...sing carols and had a blast....My sister, bil , neice and nephew were suppose to come but they ended up sick so they gave my sil , her fiance, daughter and son the tickets for free...these tickets cost $35.00 a piece so it would of cost them about $140.00...so my sister lost the money but gave it to them as a Christmas gift...This was so sweet of her...anyway enough about that....

I used Storybook for the scalloped accent (in the middle for photo) cut @ 5 1/4"
Accent frame (white and red) cut @ 5 1/4" which I journaled on
Also the title cut @ 2" "All Aboard" (this is the first thing the conductor says on the movie so I thought it was appropriate)

I also used HD for the flourish cut @ 2 1/4"

StoneScript for the Polar Express title on the train cut @ 1 1/8"

I used Christmas/Noel cart for the Train cut 3 times at 4" and added brads to the wheels and doodled with white gel pen...

I also used the bow from the bell on noel cart I think cut @ 2"

I added pearls , ms scallop punch and placed the polar express tickets behind the scallop frame so we always have this memory....Thanks for looking!
