Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

A welcome sign with my cricut

Hello again. Last post for today, I have been adding touches and refinishing and coming up with ideas lately. So here is one of my creations....I used my handheld cricut to design this. I used chalky finish paint (love this stuff) not chalkboard paint. Added some stencils that I cut with my cricut. I used Storybook cartridge for the font "WELCOME" and then added fancy corners using the same cartridge and made my own welcome sign. I also used some wood my husband had in his stash...He didn't mind. He is loving all my changes to the house, because it is saving him money..Haha. I already had all the supplies so it cost us nothing. Well just time!!!! My husband will be hanging it up this weekend. Right now this is how everything looks together.

A welcoming Hello!

Hi again. I have been adding some posts today about things that I am refinishing or adding touches too. This is just one of them...(scroll down for more on my blog). Our front screen door of our house was needing a refinish of some kind. The paint was coming off and every time someone sat or leaned against the door they would end up with paint on them...It needed something. So I bought chalky finish Americana décor paint from home depot...(love this stuff), I then added a few coats of this paint and then cut out the Hello on my cricut after designing and sizing it in my gypsy handheld cricut. I wanted something welcoming but something different. So outside is the "Hello" and inside my screen door is Goodbye. I used Cindyloo cartridge for the Font. Sorry can't remember what size I did. Hope you enjoy and thank you for stopping by.

A patriotic little latter for Labor day or July 4th

Hello! I have been really excited to get things done before the summer ends. I have been slowly getting things accomplished. I found this great little latter in Erie. I thought it looked too plain so I added a few touches. It already had a star and small wreath inside. I was going to buy a flag but wanted to save money also. So I decided to look around my house for something I could use, I came across this kitchen towel, I added jute from my stash, and some battery operated lights and wala something for Labor day or just for everyday use. Love it.

Beautified lantern

Hello again. Here is another little touch that I fixed up for my front porch. I bought the lantern at kirklands (already included battery operated candle inside...looks like a real candle), added some greenery and some fall color inside with candle and added some ivy. Got all of those at Hobby Lobby 50% off.....I love a great sale. Thanks for stopping by.

Old ugly counter revamped to a new granite looking kitchen counter

If you have been following my blog, you would know that I just revamped my kitchen table. Well now I changed our ugly green counter (in my kitchen) to this beautiful granite looking counter top. All that is left is to seal me counter so I can use it. Take a look. If you would love to know how I did this. Just email me..... Enjoy your Friday and stop by for more updates around my house.
