Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my creations...I love making memories that I can share with my family and friends....and especially my daughters. They are my inspirations for creating a lot of these layouts. I love taking everyday ordinary things and making them into beautiful altered art. My downfall is buying beautiful papers and not wanting to use them because they are too gorgeous. LOL. Please take the time to check out my crafts, follow my blog and maybe even scraplift them and make sure you let others know where you got the idea...Love to have new followers of my blog.

Down memory lane with my mom's friend.

Hello ladies...I have been quite busy lately but I managed to get some crafting done. My mom's friend Joyce wanted to get together and craft. She had some pictures of her campers over the years and wanted to put them in a black picture frame and needed my help. She brought the pictures, paper, stickers and frame. My mom, Joyce and myself had a lot of fun. I tore the papers , inked them, added brown mats to each picture, used some tags from my stash and all the embellies from Joyce. She was so happy and so excited when we finished that she told my mom she will probably want to make another one of these with her friends in the pictures. I had a great day with both of them and can't wait to have another crafting day. Joyce brought a 12X12 paper with a map on it....I crinkled it , inked it and tore it to look like an old map....she added some wording and lines to it too give it the old feel of a written on map. I loved this looked. I tore some of the other paper and placed it around the background. The beach arrow and the grass was on the same 12X12...but I chose to tear it and then add them on too opposite sides. She loved that idea. Added some twine to the tags, used a brad to tuck one of the twine so it would not be in the way of the picture. Hope you enjoy. I hope everyone enjoys and has a great day.
