Fishy wishes / Easel card!
Hello again...this is my 2nd post for today. Last night I made this card for one of our friend's sons birthday. He will be turning 6 next week but his party is this weekend. I always have a hard time with boy cards but then I thought why not a fish card....so here is what I came up with.
Card recipe:
Easel card... Fishbowl was cut @ 4 1/2" with CAC (create a critter)
Seaweed cut @ 4 1/2" and 4 1/4" with CAC
Fish cut @ 1 1/4"
added skittles for bubbles...vellum for the front of fishbowl which is bulge out to look like a fishbowl.
Ribbon, hemp cord to tie on tag ...doodled, happy birthday stamp
inside:
buttons, nestabilities and computer generated saying...fishing you lots of wishes on your special day!
I hope you enjoyed my creations for today...stop by in July for more of my creations...have a wonderful day!
Very nice card! I love the gingham pattern & the velum is a great idea. If this boy is anything like mine was, he won't even notice that there is a card attached to the present. His mom will like it though.
ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable! I love the velum for the fishbowl, such a cute & clever idea! I found you from the MB and became a follower, can't wait to see what you create next! :)
