My 1st Village / Christmas gift!
Hello Everyone! I have not been on here for a while...my dd and I had the swine flu over Thanksgiving..but now we are feeling better...still have the cough and I have had a sore throat but nothing really to complain about...anyway...I wanted to make something for my gram since I made my mom a vintage calendar...I saw a village done on the cricut board and I thought that would be a good gift...so I decided to make one...never did this before so be kind....
I used WW for the striped house cut @ 4 3/4"...added ms drippy goo punch for icicles and used 3d shiny paint on them...can't really see it..I added some webbing I had left over from Halloween to the chimney for smoke...
Santa and Reindeer cut @ 2 1/2" 4 times (to make it sturdy) added wire to hold it in place...cut with christmas / noel cart...
Red House I cut @ 3 1/4" then added lights (buttons from Michaels) , added corded ribbon , 3d shiny paint to look like snow....added some more webbing to this chimney also... doodled christmas trees in the front and back window...
Wreaths were cut with Noel cart @ 1 1/2" 3 of them
The church cut @ 4 1/4" with WW cart added ms branch punch and pearls...also banner cut @ .34" noel solutions cart...added ms drippy goo punch also...the 3d paint is not quite dry yet but wanted to share this.
The trees cut @ 4 1/4" with ww cart and added 3d white paint for snow...I cb with swissdots.
Snowman cut @ 3 1/2" with ww cart also...I also cb with swissdots...The snow on bottom is webbing but added silver embossing powder which gives it a shine like snow... it is just added to white shiny cardstock and then underneath is chipboard 12 X 12 sheet to make it sturdy.....hope you enjoy I had fun making it....Thanks for looking
