I Received this award today!




Well I feel so honored to receive this award...a new blogger friend named Barb @ Craftgirl sent me this award....I have to tell ten things that I am blessed to have in my life...and then pass it on to 3 others....so here goes!

1.) God - he has given me so much to be thankful for ..and this year is starting to be a great one!

2.) Family - My husband, my dd, my mom and dad, my sister...etc...

3.) MY Friends = whether it is my preschool mommies, my blogger friends , or just people that I've grown to know....

4.)Housewife = being able to stay at home with my 4 year old daughter

5.) My husbands Job = it allows me to be able to stay home..

6.)My Health = not much to say about this , but that I'm just glad I'm healthy

7.) My craftyness (Is this even a word) or well...I am very thankful that god (going back to my #1) has given me my ability to craft..

8.) My cricut...I would probably not be too crafty without it..

9.) Chocolate ...are you kidding every girl (sometimes guy) needs this!!!!!

10.) Music....I love listening to all types of music , it is just so relaxing and sometimes inspiring to me!

Dream alittle dream / PS challenge!






Here is card I made for the PS challenge....http://www.practicalscrappers.com/ ...come check them out...

They wanted you to use 1 pattern paper in your card or layout..I did 2...the purple dcwv pocket full of posies..has purple and hot pink...then I used same stack but with the flowers...Love how this turned out...

Cartridges that I used:

HD = swirls cut @ 1 3/4"

GS = Sunflowers cut @ 1" , 1 1/4" (2times), 1 1/2" (2 times) , 1 3/4" (3times) and then at 2 " in darker pink...

I used Scrappy cat stamp effects stamp for the celebrate (inside card)

Used charm that says dream a little dream
Jewels, button, lace, ms fench punch, made corners by hand, used nessabilities for the marquee shape and the anime girl is from online...thanks for stopping by...

Birthday wishes vintage style/ Cuttlebugspot challenge!




Hello everyone on this terrific tuesday..hope everyone is having a great day! I love these easel cards and wanted to make another one but bigger...my 1st easels were 4X4 this one is 6X12...scored at 3" and then at 6"....this one has no cricut..which is unusual for me.

This card is for the cuttlebug spot challenge..they wanted you to make anything with silver and black...but I through in some cream...I usually don't use these colors but I really like it...they did change their way of winning so you don't have to make anything you could just leave a comment...but I just wanted to give these colors a try...go for it..check them out.http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/ ...just click on title birthday wishes...and it will take you right to it..

I used Nestabilities for the oval cuts, and the Label one marquee cut...I used my ek success antique circle punch...

Used MS scallop border punch

Used EK success corner punch..I love punches....

I also used some silver ribbon, pearls and even got the image online..I just looked up vintage silhouettes....I scrolled through them and found this woman.

Unique / SOUS and Frosted Designs challenge!








This lo is of my dd at age 3 ...last year..she loves to dress up, she is so unique and so sweet....Unique in a good way...she always makes me smile...I just had to do a layout of her dressing up...on this day I was pretending I was the paperazzi...(taking tons of pics)...anyway..I made this layout for 2 challenges..yes 2 , I usually only do one but this was for

I used George for the silhouette circle cut @ 10 3/4" fit to page

I used HD for the swirl cut @ 3 3/4"

I used WIMG for the daisies cut @ 2 1/2", 2 1/4", and 2" twice (all of them)

Then I cut at 1 1/4", 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" all of these once...

I used Pooh font cart for the U and E cut @ 2 1/4" (3 times) to make into chipboard and glitter glued...the rest of the title is regular chipboard....

I used Paisley cart for the sunglasses cut @ 1" added pearls

Necklace is cut @ 2" , doodled and added pearl

I used WIMG also for the tag cut @ 4 1/2" journaled on it and added ribbon.

added jems, pearls, to the flowers..

Enjoy the Ride!



Hello everyone....I made this card for my dad's birthday...It is not until May but this popped in my head yesterday and I had to make before I forgot...He is turning 60this year..

I used GS for the car (Icon = enjoy the ride) cut @ 3"

Also the enjoy the ride cut @ 2" and then 2 1/4" again but only used the oval part of it...

I used P&F for the sign cut @ 3" and wrote speed limit 60 (since he will be turning 60)

I used M&F for the road cut @ 3"

I inked everything , pop dotted the enjoy the ride (to stand out), doodled on the car and on the enjoy the ride sign, I used white gel pen on the tires and inked with some white, I tore paper, and added skittles for the headlights.I also doodled #1 DAD..I did not do the inside yet, I ran out of printer ink....hope you enjoy, I know I had fun making this card!

Live, Laugh, Love mother's day card!





Hello everyone....alittle late posting today but better late than never...right? This is another mother's day card...don't know for who yet, but I will have it made...gotta make I think 3 more mother's day cards.

I used Lattice card from ds...sorry can't remember who created it..I saved it and forgot to put who designed it...

Then I used HD for the swirl cut @ 2"

I used GS for the flowers cut @ 1 5/8" , and 1 3/8" (twice)

I used AE for the leaves cut @ 1 1/2" cb with swiss dots

I also used GS for the butterflies cut @ 1 1/4" and then 1 3/4"

I added brads, ribbon, and cb the flowers also with flower cb folder...inside is blank at the moment until I know who this is for...I added glitter glue to the butterflies and the flowers...added pearls too.Thanks to all who stop by!

Anime Happy Birthday card / PS embossing challenge!







Hello everyone...for some reason I can not sleep so I did this card...It is 1:30 am...my dh and dd and my dogs are all asleep but me! After I post this I think I will head to bed..gotta long day tomorrow. This will be my dd 1st day back to preschool since wednesday of last wk...and then I have to watch my niece Morgan, and then pick up my dd from preschool , get her cleaned up , eat something, and then head out the door for one of her friends "Olivia" 5th birthday party...run , run , run..oh well gotta love life, kids and unexpected things to come up...

This card is alittle different than I usually do...I tried some things I don't do and I just love how it came out...I guess I do better when I'm tired. Pratical Scrappers is doing an embossing challenge..I love to emboss so this is what I came up with..click on title Anime Happy Birthday card and it will take you to the site.

Card Recipe

I used GS for the sunflower cut @ 3", 2 3/4", 2 1/2" inked in light pink, used swiss dots cb folder and my ITop that I won one of my friends blogs....Dawn...Love this..

I used MS border punch (on the edge...can't see to well)

I used CB folders swiss dots, stylized flowers, sanded the white core cardstock, then inked, I doodled in white gel pen...

I used my nestabilities...which I need to get more ..just love these.

I also used scallop border cb folder and cut around the scallop...

I also sewed ribbon together by hand since I don't have a sewing machine...I think it came out cute...I added some pearls...and cut my own corner out..Last but not least I used a Anime clipart that I got online...thanks Wanda for showing me these..they are just so cute...thanks for looking and all the inspiration.

Timeless Treasure / Stuck on U challenge!






I made this layout for a challenge on StuckonUSketches ....go check them out they always have some awesome challenges...http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/...The other day my Aunt brought me some pics of my mom when she was younger....she is gorgeous right?..She knew I would put them to good use instead of sitting in a box...I also received some buttons from a dear friend of my mom's..so I used both of them on this layout.

What I used :

I used HD for the swirl cut @ 5"

I used SB for the butterflies cut @ 2", and then 1 1/2" twice which I used the flip feature on my expression.

I used SB for the title TIMELESS cut @ 1"

and the TREASURE was cut @ 1" also but using GS cart and then I cut it again using pink cardstock to make it pop alittle

I added gold heart buttons (from my mom's dear friend) thanks again for those worked out really well..

I also used Buttons from my dear friend Dawn who I met through blogging ...

I used flower punch, pearls, inked almost everything, lace, tore paper, used lace heart (got in the cake decorating isle at walmart), used a charm with mom on it...also antique clock from making memories vintage findings which I found at Michaels for .39 cents for 3 pack.

I also used some flowers that I had...I think that is all...hope you like , I know I had fun making this.

Hello everyone...it is a rainy day here...but yesterday we had a great time celebrating Wanda's 50th birthday...my dd who is only 4 wanted to make her a card and this is what she made....she is such a sweetheart and she wanted to do everything herself so I let her...she even wrote I love you inside of the card and used her stamps...she did use some of my stamps also which she did get alittle help inking...but that is the only thing I helped her with...she used some of my scraps that I don't use...I know her grammy loved it...just wanted to share!

Happy Birthday Wanda!




This card was made for my mil Wanda....this is her 50th B-day....Happy Birthday Wanda!

I used Spellbinders Nessibilities for the scallop oval...I added the cake from Sweet Treats, added glitter glue and pearls. I also used cb swirls folder and the snowflakes folder....

Inside says 50 that takes the cake! I used the ST cart for this also.....sorry don't remember the sizes....I made this about 2 wks ago...could not post until today.
