Trick or Treat (I think treat)!
Hello ladies. I have been on a roll lately even though my dd (LILY) is not even in school yet. So I thought I would do a Halloween card...I usually don't do Halloween but since my brother passed almost 3 years ago I have been thinking about him (his birthday is on Halloween) so this is always a special day in my heart now. Always cherish what you have because you never know when it will be gone...sorry for rambling on. Anyway I decided to do this card ...I love how this came out.
Sorry no cricut:
I used nestabilities for the frame in the middle and cuttlebugged with swiss dots. The bird and pumpkin in the middle is a stamp that I colored with my colored pencils and used mineral spirits to blend it.
I used houndstooth cb folder for the background.
Added a rubon to a piece of white cardstock...love those birds.
I used a ms drippy goo punch and inked in red. (blood)
More rubons up the side of card.
Inside of card:
cb houndstooth again for background
nestabilities for the middle and I wrote Happy Halloween and faux stitched around it because it was to plain
I added some stickers for the trick or treat....added ms drippy goo punch and inked in red for blood....hope you enjoy.
Thank you for taking time to stop by...God bless all!

New school tags / Frosted Designs challenge!
Updated:
I saw that frosted designs is doing back to school so I entered these for the challenge..go to their blog and check them out...they always have some cool challenges...http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/ or click on my title and it will link you right there.
Hello ladies. I have been managing to get some time to myself and get things done. Since school will be starting for my dd in another week. I had to get her new tag done for her bookbag. I made her one last year for preschool but it fell apart and she wanted a new one, so while I was making hers (Lillian) I made 2 more , one for my niece (Morgan) who is 3 . she will be starting preschool this year, and the other is for my nephew Owen he will be starting kindergarten also.
The one with the kitty is Lillian's (my dd's), the doggie is for Morgan (which the theme of her class is doggies). Then you should know the rocket is for my nephew Owen. he has a star wars backpack with reds, blacks, white and lime greens, so this is what I thought would go with his.
I used my ds to weld their names and for all the cuts. I used flower cb folder and swiss dots. I punched little butterflies out (for lily's and morgan's tags)and doodled some lines to look like the butterflies were flying...Owen's I pieced together in different colors.
Then I ran them through my xyron with laminating supplies.
The last pic on here is of my dd's backpack. Lillian picked the colors she wanted and when we put it on her bookbag it all went together..cool...
Thanks for stopping by and God bless all! I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I used Doodlecharms for the apple cut @ 3" (outside) and then I added a piece of pattern cardstock (with apple on it) dcwv grade school pack. I added ribbon and a pearl... I also cb with the swissdot folder.
Inside:
Apples cut @ 1 1/2" with DC cart(again) ...added small pearls. swissdot cb folder and then I did a computer generated saying...
When god created teachers,
He gave us special friends!
Just a little note to say I'm glad to finally meet you!
Then I will have my dd sign it (she does her name really good). Thanks for stopping by and God bless you!

Hello again! This is my 2nd post for today..my 1st one is a blog award...I decided to do this lo because my dd is going to be going to Kindergarten this year. Oh my baby is growing up..sorry had a moment there. I am so proud of her. She graduated from Preschool and now off to Kinddy! This was a very simple layout since I don't get alot of time to myself anymore, with summer (my dd is home more) and my hubby graduated from night school back in July so now we spend all our free time together..taking walks, watching movies, etc. Which I am loving. The only time I do get is usually at night when they are sleeping. Anyway, sorry to ramble on, I will also be posting some cute christmas cards that I started yesterday ..so watch out for those too.
Layout recipe:

DC for the bus cut @ 4", the babyfaces (kids in the windows) cut @ 2 3/4"
George for the hexagon (stop sign) cut @ 1"
Pddu = bus driver face cut @ 2 3/4", Fence cut @ 2 1/2", hair (kids) cut @ 1 3/4", and the busdrivers hair cut @ 2"
Pooh Font for the title = off to school I go cut @ 1"
Pooh and friends cart for grass cut @ 1"
I used cuttlebug folder (I forget the name of this one) for the tree, I used nestabilities for behind the frame for pic....some scrap pieces of paper, faux stitched and wala a very simple layout...thanks for stopping by be sure to stay tuned for those christmas cards...I think they are cute, but that's just me! God bless all!

Hello blogger friends, today I received this trendy blog award from one of my blogger buddies...Debbie. She makes some terrific layouts. go check her out at http://debbiebakk.blogspot.com/....
I have to tell why I started blogging and why I keep blogging...
1.) Well I started crafting about 5 years ago and I just love it..my mil got me started. It is just so relaxing, so then my mil started a blog and told me that I should share my creations with everyone...I never thought I was that talented but she gave me the inspiration and told me that I do good work...so that is one reason I started blogging.
2.) The 2nd reason is to share my creations with family and friends, and to meet new friends...which I have so many great ones! I keep blogging to meet more friends and maybe inspire someone else like I have been inspired by so many of you!!!!!! Any time I am in a slump I jump over to other bloggers and see what I can find that gets my mojo a flowing.....I usually don't scraplift anything but I do find alot of inspiration...I might take a idea from one place and then come up with my own creations.....so I want to thank all of my blogger friends for inspiring me and my mom and mil. ....well now I have to send this on to 10 of my blogger friends.
