Celebrate

This is a lo I made for the 4th of July....blue, red and white. I was trying to get a little ahead, because I will be away for a couple days at PresqueIsle in Erie, I won't be back until Monday evening...I used ds for the title which I used wildcard cart for everything....stars, celebrate, and rockets. I used the extra star pieces for the background (these were leftover from the star cutout). I did not glue down as I am going to add the pics the day after the 4th...but wanted to show what I've done. I staggered the title celebrate so you see the white background...When I complete I will post with the pics. Have a wonderful weekend!

Yummy Watermelon!

Hi everyone on this rainy friday! I thought I would make a bright and cheerful layout....I love how this turned out. This is of my dd on the 4th of July at her Aunt Bonnie's house...it is tradition that we go there every year and she loves it. She also loves watermelon...she must of ate about 3 pieces that day.

I used SYI cart in DS to make the watermelon border....
I used OA for the Title also designed in ds.
I used ms drippy goo punch to look like juice running down....
I used PSB for the tag behind the picture (the one with the ribbon) is the journaling...

I always love to journal and write down the date so I remember...but I don't always have room on the page so I either stick the journaling on the back or behind the picture....that is what I did here.

I used some buttons and ribbon from my stash...
I used DCWV nana's nursery paper.

TIME flies by!

I used alot of carts in this one...I wanted to try something different. I used my ds for mostly all of this layout...and since I've been making cards I thought I would get back to a layout...Here goes...I used Jasmine for the title " TIME Flies by"...which it really has. My dd is 9mths in the left picture, and 3years old in the right picture...she just turned 4 in May. I used george for the squares..(alot of this I don't remember size since I used design studio. I used WC cart for the branches and birds...I used AE for the frame and swirls..the swirls cut at 3 1/4". The birds , I started at 2 1/4" and kept shrinking it...I did 4 of those...doodled the swirls on them and inked...(almost everything is inked). I used Lockertalk for the clock. I added a silver brad.I also added jewels...had to add a little color and bling...The pictures in black and white I used my computer to change the color...The colors look better in person...they are pinks, blues, white, black, light brown, and light yellow, some gray...I think that is it..hope you enjoy and stop back soon!

With love on your birthday / another magnolia stamp!

This is another birthday card...trying to have a supply since there are so many birthdays this summer...well I have birthdays every mth....never ends..I used another magnolia stamp. I used AE cart for the hearts behind the stamp..pop dotted. I used a heart doily, some prima flowers, ms branch punch. george cart for the oval tag, some ribbon, and I stamped with love, on your birthday! I also cb with my swirl folder. oh, almost forgot that I used 2 gold brads for the flowers..I think that is it...don't remember sizes, forgot to write everything down...I'll try to remember next time. Birthday blessings/magnolia stamp!

I just love these stamps...wanted to try this girl..haven't used her yet. I used jasmine cart for the frame..can't remember what size..this was a left over scrap. I used ms branch punch for under the flowers. flowers got at michaels. I used ms scallop punch. jasmine cart for the corners which I doodled. I also added ribbon and pearls..thanks for stopping by. inside reads birthday blessings which I used george font cart for this.

Two birds of a feather always flock together!

Here is another anniversary card. This one is very simple...I have one more too go. I am grateful to dustin pike for this image of the bird...so creative...I love his work. I printed it out twice..colored with my pencils , blended with mineral spirits...cut out and stuck both together...since I don't have the actual stamp...I then used george to cut the circle at 5". cuttlebugged with swirls...added prima flowers..that I just got from michaels with my birthday money...I then added some buttons, and the computed generated saying....two birds of a feather always flock together....inside will be a simple....happy anniversary...hope you enjoy! Anniversary card!

I have 3 anniversary's to make cards for...my mom and dad, my sister and brother in law, and my mother and father in law. They are all for June....This is just one of them that I made...I hope you like.

I used the magnolia challenge layout for this one. I love this layout...I think I will be using this again....simple. The hardest thing was piecing the ariel and eric together....because of tiny parts.
I used george for the circle cut at 6" and then cut in half...
I used jasmine frame cut at 6" off of the dreams come true cart.
I used Ariel and Eric at 4" off of dct. I also used gold vellum for eric and some of frame...you can't really tell from picture..but you get the idea.
I added pearls and inside I used OA "Happy anniversary!" and wala done.
